Data controller
The publisher of Glitchpin, whose company name, registered office and registration are given in the legal notice. For any question about your data: the contact form or contact@glitchpin.com.
Data collected
This site collects data in two places only.
- The contact form: your name, your email address, your subject and your message.
- The waiting list: your email address and what you are interested in (the free plugin, Glitchpin Pro or both).
Purposes
- Replying to you, if you write to us.
- Notifying you at launch, if you sign up to the waiting list: a confirmation email, then one message on launch day. Unsubscribe in one click.
Legal basis
Your consent, given through the checkbox on each form.
Retention period
- Waiting list, unconfirmed address: deleted 30 days after sign-up. The confirmation link expires after 14 days; beyond that, the address has no further use.
- Waiting list, confirmed address: until you unsubscribe, and at most 3 years after you signed up. That is the period the CNIL applies to a contact who has not followed up.
- Contact form messages: 3 years after they are received, the time needed to reply and to find the history of an exchange.
- Anti-abuse technical fingerprint (IP address hashed and salted, never the address itself): 7 days. It serves only to limit repeated submissions.
These deletions are carried out automatically every day.
Recipients and processors
Your data is neither sold nor transferred. Only the following are involved:
- Cloudflare, Inc., in the United States, which serves the pages of glitchpin.com, stores the sign-ups and the messages, and routes the confirmation email as well as the copy of every contact message (Cloudflare Email Service).
- Ligne Web Services (LWS, France): hosting of the contact@glitchpin.com mailbox, which receives the copy of your contact message.
Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union. That transfer relies on Cloudflare’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by the standard clauses adopted by Brussels.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not measure traffic, sets no cookie and loads no resource from another domain.
Only one piece of information is kept in your browser, in its local storage: the fact that you closed the "Get notified at launch" banner at the bottom of the screen on mobile, so that it does not come back. It does not leave your device.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for its rectification or its erasure, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to us through the contact form. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
